Saint Martin Maps
These maps show the physical shape of the island shared by French Saint Martin in the north and Dutch Sint Maarten in the south. Use the elevation map to understand the hills and relief, and the satellite map to see the coastline, settlements and developed areas.
Useful when planning: The island is small, but hills, narrow roads and traffic mean that short map distances do not always translate into short driving times. The maps are best used together with the Saint Martin travel guide.
Elevation mapBest for understanding the central hills, Pic Paradis and the island's relief.
Satellite mapBest for coastlines, bays, settlements and the built-up southern part of the island.
One islandThe maps show both French Saint Martin and Dutch Sint Maarten because the geography is continuous across the border.
Saint Martin Elevation Map
The elevation map highlights the hilly interior and the lower coastal areas. Pic Paradis, the island's highest point at 424 m, lies on the French side. The map also makes clear why some apparently short road journeys cross steep terrain.
Saint Martin Satellite Map
The satellite map shows the coastline, bays, salt ponds, settlements and the contrast between the more densely developed south and many of the smaller coastal areas on the French side.
